Training Manual

Twin Knee Block

Practice with caution to avoid injury

Raise both arms upward. Then, while raising one knee to point forward, drop the arm on the same side to create a full shield on the side of the body. The other arm should position with the palm-side of the fist facing down in front of the mid-section, similar to the downward block.

The basic blocking system is used to teach the beginner how to defend against various attacks. The blocking system is also used to develop the student's strength and functionality. Once the core understanding of the technique is achieved, it evolves with the practitioner's understanding, later encompassing striking, joint-locks, etc..
